The approach combines Eastern and Western treatment modalities, providing clients with the opportunity to maintain long-term mental health recovery and sobriety. The First Pillar relies on evidence-based Western psychotherapy, focusing on recuperating the client’s mind and teaching them strategies needed to stop negative behaviours and enforce alternative positive behaviours. Psychotherapy is combined with holistic practices to support healing and recovery. This is achieved through the Second Pillar wellness programme which aims to provide a sense of increased mental resilience through the practice of Eastern holistic techniques such as yoga, mindfulness, art therapy, massage therapy, and physical fitness. They also offer the Step Down Programme that eases the transition from inpatient treatment to a real-life daily routine. After the primary inpatient treatment, clients will move to the semi-controlled facility on-site, but with the freedom to come and go as you like. The Step-Down Programme should allow you to put your new sober living skills at work at your own pace. As The Dawn Rehab’s programme emphasises mental health, many of their clients come to treat their mental health issues rather than addiction. At The Dawn Rehab, they have a relapse warranty policy where clients can come back and receive treatment for free in case of relapse.
