The Facility Hope House is located in the remoteness of Chonburi in central Thailand, yet close to big cities like Bangkok and Pattaya. On the contrary, the Hope House’s quiet location on Thailand’s eastern coastline promotes recovery and healing. You’ll find Hope House facility located in a serene setting, in the middle of the village, but only steps away from a gorgeous beach. The centre’s location gives clients access to the local market, yoga studios, the village’s two temples, and the sports facilities, allowing clients to practice their sober skills in real life. The Treatment Hope House provides a second-stage recovery community and takes on clients who are at least two months clean. Clients will have the opportunity to practice their sober living skills in day-to-day life and receive ongoing support from their peers and staff. The environment and overall atmosphere provide family dynamics as new members learn to get into a new sober routine. At Hope House, they provide a weekly programme, based on an approach that combines Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), the Minnesota Model (the abstinence model), mindfulness meditation, and healthy living. During your stay at Hope House, you will work with a dedicated recovery coach on the problems identified in your primary treatment, and this is combined with self-help group sessions, mindfulness, fitness, yoga, meditation, and assistance in making ongoing plans. They have morning rituals that involve a light exercise, breakfast, and gratitude practice. Clients are also required to attend three group sessions during the week to reflect on daily experiences. The Team The founder of Hope House has overcome his opiate dependency 14 years ago and has helped addicts through recovery ever since. All team members have experience in working with addicts and assisting them in recovery, so they have a good knowledge of navigating their way through the healing process. The centre also has volunteers that work as part of the team from time to time. Hope House treatment prices range from $1,000-$3,000+ per month, depending on the intensity and structure of programmes.
