They are located in a 12 bed facility, all single occupancy, and has separate buildings for men and women. The facility is around 3km from the centre of town so provides easy access to Chiang Mai, its activities and its recovery community. Available for clients who have already completed a period of time in a primary treatment facility, The Calm provides a programme that aims to help you maintain sobriety in the real world after rehab through support, connection and community. Sober living at The Calm doesn’t aim to replicate the intensity and structure of a primary treatment centre but rather give you the opportunity to take responsibility for yourself and your recovery. They aim to empower clients to build their own recovery vision whilst still having a support network to correct any remaining issues. Within the programme, they provide individual counselling sessions, sessions with your recovery coach, process groups, check out groups, meditation and excursions. In addition, there is the expectation that you will attend support groups and build your own programme of additional activities.
